 About Cazpa Charity Consulting

Paul  Mills

Thank you for showing an interest in Cazpa.

In 2020 I decided to set up this consultancy. Its not the first time I have been a consultant, and previously I ran a successful local marketing consultancy helping charities and smaller businesses to develop their strategic plans and implement operational change. After working 'client-side' for the last four years, I really wanted to share that knowledge again to help others.

In this post-COVID-19 world, being 'fit' as a charity is critical. And its not just about income. From operational effectiveness to stakeholder engagement, every aspect of charity life is changing as the purse strings tighten. Change is inevitable, but making it impactful, sustainable and right for your charity is fundamental.

So how can I help? I have extensive board and management level experience working across large and smaller charities. This includes national and local charities, and I have worked across marketing and communications, fundraising, governance, strategic planning, sustainability planning and change management too.

With a long career in media and operational marketing prior to my third sector work, I bring a wealth of knowledge which supports my consultancy skills. Where specialist skills or knowledge is needed, I work with trusted associates who I have worked with previously to deliver the agreed outcomes on any project.

Please do contact me if you just want to chat things over. Cazpa is available to help you change your charities future, today.

Recommendations and comments

."From the very first brief we received from Paul, it was clear that he is extremely brand aware and has a drum-tight marketing brain. I worked with him and his team very closely on a national rebrand and, even though it was a massive task with many components, assets and suppliers, Paul ensured that everything ran like clockwork and that standards and deadlines were upheld. He was always approachable and supportive and I definitely learned a fair few things about marketing from him along the way."

Sim7 - Design and Branding

"Paul is a real pleasure to work with. He knows his subject matter, is considered and dedicated in his approach. Facing tremendous public and high profile pressure and an intense workload on the transfer and refresh of a local authority service to a new social enterprise, Paul remained calm, professional and responsive to the needs and responses of a variety of internal and external stakeholders"

Discovery

"Paul has a great ability to see the big picture ... take that strategic position and translate in to tactical activity and plans, and then run with it to make it happen. He’s able to draw on his wide senior experience to deliver creative marketing and communication solutions and also to being others on the journey. Paul’s professionalism made him a pleasure to work with."

Royal Osteoporosis Society

”Have worked with Paul for over a year. Very visionary, strategic, thoughtful and focussed in his approach and involves and listens to those around him before making key decisions in the area of communications. It is obvious from the way he works that he has been able to draw upon his extensive and valuable communications experience in both in-house and agency roles."
